Are you Concerned about Hate Crime happening at your Place of Worship
Monday 11 November 2019
18:00 to 21:00
The London Boroughs of Bromley, Croydon and Sutton and the Community Security Trust (CST), invite leaders of faith communities in the 3 boroughs to a seminar on the safety and security of places of worship.
CST is the UK Jewish community's security organisation. It is a charity that protects British Jews from antisemitism and related threats and is recognised by the Police and Government as a unique model of best practice. CST provides security advice and training for Jewish communal organisations, schools and synagogues. It secures over 650 Jewish communal buildings and approximately 1,000 communal events every year, at no charge.
The CST will be sharing their rich experience and knowledge on the mitigation of security risks in places of worship, providing practical advice about the protection of premises and worshippers. This event will also give attendees the opportunity to ask question in relation to how best to ensure places of worship are safe and secure for all who go there.
This will be an interactive workshop.
Refreshments will be provided.
