The above event was celebrated on the 30th of September, 2019 with the Indian chapter launch of "World Humanitarian Drive (WHD)” partners of Faiths Together Croydon in collaboration with Panimalar Group of Institutions, Chennai, India.

The P2F event was graced by Hon. Navas Kani India M.P., Hon. Saravanan Karathihayan- Consul General of Malaysia High Commission India, Dr P Chinnadurai, Secretary and Correspondent of Panimalar College, said education is the passport to future and happily announced to the audience that WHD and Panimalar colleges will be together working as education partners.


In the event Croydon’s Mayor appointed International Ambassador and WHD charity organisations Founder Chairman Abdul Basith Syed, spoke on the importance of instilling high values through moral education to develop and inspire everyone for a peaceful harmonious world, Mr Syed proudly informed the meeting that WHD organisation members have collected 10,000 signature petition so far from around the world to request United Nations to Declare and celebrate 30th September as World Moral Education Day.
Abdul "I am sure we all recognise the immense value of teaching not only our children to grow up with excellent moral values but also everyone including us which will impact lives immeasurably and help shape the kind of world we all would love to live in. It‘s needed so badly today!"
