Following on from recent terror related incidents in Hannuu, Germany and yesterday’s tragic incident (not terror related) at the Regents Park Mosque, here is some information on ways to remain vigilant and also on considerations that can be taken to ensure venues open to the public remain safe and secure.

As ever, Croydon council neighbourhood safety officers will be providing a uniformed presence throughout the borough in particularly around places of worship venues, where they may be particular concerns from the community.

Please also remember to call 101 for non-emergencies and 999 if you need an immediate police response.

Sharon Kilborne, Community Coordinator Counter Extremism and the local police faith officer are happy to visit any places of worship venues in the borough should you wish to speak more directly to someone.  You can also download some resource documents from below.
