Croydon Council has launched a scheme to help Croydon residents heat their homes and reduce their fuel bills.
Energy Assessors can visit people in their homes and help them set the heating controls to heat their home appropriately for their needs. They can help residents find and switch to the best fuel tariffs, and ensure they receive all the benefits they are entitled to from their energy suppliers. Free energy efficiency measures can be fitted to reduce fuel bills, and residents can be supported applying for larger measures (such as free energy efficient boilers and loft/wall insulation).
Croydon Healthy Homes is a free service for Home Owners, and residents who rent their home from a private sector landlord. Full details are available on the Council webpage www.croydon.gov.uk/healthyhomes
As winter is approaching, Croydon Council is keen to work with faith and community groups to make as many residents as possible aware of the support the scheme can offer. If you are able to help promote Croydon Healthy Homes please email healthyhomes@croydon.gov.uk or phone 020 8726 6000 ext 61432
